Alex has produced this iconic image of the architectural three graces with the daughters of Zeus the Classical Three Graces from Greek mythology. The 'Three Graces' celebrates Liverpool's Renaissance particularly its success at becoming European Capital of Culture 2008 and the fact that Liverpool received its city status in 1207 celebrating its 800 anniversary in 2007. The Pier Head buildings in the picture (also known as the Three Graces) were awarded World Heritage Status by UNESCOs World Heritage Committee 2004.
