This mug is made of bone china and features Alex Corina's Three Graces artwork. This Liverpool art mug is decorated by hand using printed ceramic transfers, hand finished then fired to 800 degrees.
The 'Three Graces' celebrates Liverpool's Renaissance particularly its success at becoming European Capital of Culture 2008 and the fact that Liverpool received its city status in 1207 celebrating its 800 anniversary in 2007. The Pier Head buildings in the picture (also known as the Three Graces) were awarded World Heritage Status by UNESCOs World Heritage Committee 2004.
