This Liverpool Art Print is taken from the original poster produced for the Liverpool Overhead Railway (LOR) to promote the railway’s tours of the Liverpool Docks and the River Mersey. The Liverpool Overhead Railway, or 'Dockers' Umbrella' (1893-1956), was the first elevated electric railway in the world, and one of the few to escape nationalisation in 1948.
